With very heavy heart I have to report the death of Steve Patrick after a mercifully short fatal illness, in Salisbury Hospital. He had remained active, positive and cheerful to the end, to which the many recipients of his e-mails would testify. As well a member of the German Stag club and of another UK Stag club, Steve had been one of our founding members all the way back in 1997 and was a good friend and ally of this club, attending most TSR events. Steve will be remembered as one of those 'do it' guys, invariably calm and cheerful yet philosophical and was without malice or the pursuit of vested interests. Steve was also a very close personal friend who could always be relied upon through thick and thin, was non-judgemental and always happy to help people out. The funeral was held on Monday 29th July at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Bishopsdown, Salisbury SP1 3EG. Any donations to Salisbury Hospice should be sent to Chris White Funeral Directors at West Street, Wilton, SP2 0JS Our sincere sympathy goes out to his wife of 45 years, Bobby, to whom we all extend our condolences and very best wishes. Steve, you will be missed so much. |
